Stillwater Community Forum:
Let’s Talk Open Primaries
WHAT:
Join us for a public conversation about State Question 836 (SQ 836) and the growing effort to bring open primaries to Oklahoma.
Speakers will include Oklahoma United Founder and CEO Margaret Kobos and Former State Senator AJ Griffin, who will explain how SQ 836 would reform Oklahoma’s current closed primary system. Under this proposal, all candidates—regardless of party—would appear on a single primary ballot, and every registered voter would be able to cast a vote. The top two vote-getters would advance to the general election.
