WHAT:
The Oklahoma Rural Schools Coalition and the Vote Yes 836 campaign are pleased to host a virtual town hall conversation about State Question 836 and how open primaries can improve elections and strengthen governance across Oklahoma.
This nonpartisan voter education event will focus on how SQ 836 impacts rural voters, what changes it proposes to Oklahoma’s current primary election system, and why it could help produce more accountable, responsive leadership—especially in rural communities. The event will include an overview of SQ 836, a moderated discussion, and a chance for attendees to ask questions and share perspectives.
