The election system is broken.
Although gerrymandering (the manipulation of electoral boundaries to favor one party or class) has been practiced for hundreds of years, thanks to the advancement of modern computing and contemporary data applications, super partisan gerrymandering is worse than ever.
As a result, voters have become more and more disenfranchised, legislators do not feel the need to answer to their constituents, and moderate voters have been left out.
Fortunately, there is a remedy.
