The legal team for State Question 836 proponents has officially responded to the lawsuit filed to block State Question 836.

Ken Setter, one of three proponents for SQ 836, said supporters were standing up for the rights of all Oklahomans.
“State Question 836 proposes a system that has already been upheld by the U.S. Supreme Court and respects both voter choice and party independence,” said Setter. “This legal challenge is not about the law—it is about preserving a broken status quo. We’re proud to stand up for the right of all Oklahomans to have a voice in every election.”
